Job Description:

1. To manage overall sales and operations of assigned bakery outlets in an efficient and effective manner under the general guidance of DGM Sales and Operations;

2. To assist DGM Sales in establishing, monitoring, updating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures of sales and operations of assigned bakery outlets;

3. To be responsible for efficient sales staff management, On Job Training of newly hired staff, and writing their performance evaluation reports as and when required as per prescribed process;

4. To meet assigned sales targets with special focus on sales growth under the guidance of DGM sales and operations;

5. To explore avenues of institutional sales and send a monthly progress report to DGM sales and operations, pointing out avenues of sales growth;

6. To establish, monitor and effectively utilize customer profiling data to enhance sales growth, customer retention and maximize customer satisfaction and send report to this effect after every three months to DGM sales and operations;

7. To establish, monitor and implement intelligent ordering system for assigned bakery outlets to place orders in a manner that JIT (just-in-time) rule is observed and minimize wastage and returns;

8. To establish, monitor and implement work flow system in assigned bakery outlets with a focus on efficient disposal of customer’s orders, minimizing their waiting and queuing time in coordination with DGM sales and operations, also sharing this in weekly sales meetings with Managing Director and CEO;

9. To prepare, monitor and update staff shift duty rosters in coordination with DGM sales and operations; and to rotate shift duty staff (within a bakery outlet) as and when required under intimation to DGM sales and operations;

10. To be responsible for cash reconciliation with sale transactions (of both shifts) on daily basis and report it to DGM sales and operations in writing, stating that cash stands reconciled or otherwise;

11. To be responsible for petty cash reconciliation on daily basis and report it to DGM sales and operations;

12. To recommend to DGM sales and operations all kinds of leaves to staff in assigned bakery outlets;

13. To initiate performance evaluation reports on prescribed format of staff working at assigned bakery outlets in case of annual appraisal as well as termination of probation period in coordination with DGM sales and operations;

14. To conduct daily routine visits to assigned bakery outlets and also conduct surprise visits at odd hours, generate and send required reports to DGM sales and operations, and also maintain log book of routine and surprise visits;

15. To work for team-building, keep team motivated and in good spirits for providing excellent service to customers and also retaining sales team for longer periods of time;

16. To keep watch on turn-over rate of sales staff working at assigned bakeries and make all out efforts to enhance staff retention;

17. To pay special attention to on-floor training on packing, maintaining hygiene, work-flow and courteous customer service to sales staff working at assigned bakery outlets;

18. To send stock report, wastage and return reports on daily basis to DGM sales and operations;

19. To be responsible for over or under ordering of bakery as well as miscellaneous items;

20. To devise ordering system in consultation and coordination with DGM sales and operations and send report in this regard to DGM sales and operations, Managing Director and CEO;

21. To do any other job assigned by DGM sales and operations, Managing Director and/or the CEO.
